The conference is a one day event on Saturday, November 16th, at Victory Harvest Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
We'll start it off @ 10 o'clock Saturday morning, break for lunch at 12:30, and finish by 6. That's 8 hours jam packed with information on everything church tech, all done within a realistic budget.
The Church On A Budget Conference is a 1 day workshop jam packed with everything you need to start (or revitalize) your church's technology. It was born out of experience, and out of a sense of good stewardship of the funds God has given us. As we struggled in our own church to find cost effective ways to connect with our congregation in the tech arena, we realized the lack of both products and tutorials geared toward smaller and mid-sized churches. Too often areas of technical ministry seemed closed off unless we were willing to invest alarmingly increasing amounts of money-- money we felt could serve our church's calling more effectively in other areas.
So we improvised. We learned what worked, what didn't work, and what we were capable of doing ourselves-- and within a reasonable budget. Now we simply want to share that knowledge with other churches just like ours. If you're like us, tech ministry is not your full time job- it is simply an extension of your ministerial passion for your congregation. So come and learn. Bring your entire team, or just yourself. Whether you're looking to stream your services live, create your own media, or just start a podcast of your sermons, spend a Saturday learning how to connect with your church body in a new, exciting and affordable way.
I'm in. How do I get there?
